Agios Pavlos & Nikouria, Amorgos
White pebbles, crystal waters, calm scenery and, right across, the tiny island of Nikouria with exotic vibes.
The experience
Between Chora and Aegiali you’ll find Agios Pavlos, a serene beach facing Nikouria. The water is clear, the small pebbles shine under the sun, and the landscape feels peaceful and bright.
Right by the shore there’s a small beach bar perfectly blended with the dry Cycladic scenery — serving coffee, snacks and fresh cocktails with soft music and friendly vibes. The owner loves to chat and treat guests with local rakomelo and stories.

On Nikouria
The beach is long with fine pebbles and golden sand, almost no natural shade — so early morning or late afternoon is best. Bring sun protection and plenty of water.
You’ll find a small canteen for coffee and snacks, plus sunbeds for rent. The waters are calm even on windy days — ideal for a day trip escape.
Good to know
- Wild goats often wander down to the beach – part of the island’s charm but keep a respectful distance.
- Many campers choose to stay on Nikouria for days; it’s beautiful but not for everyone.
- Crystal-clear, wave-protected waters make swimming a joy all day long.
